Venue Spotlight: The Watergate Hotel | Washington DC

The Watergate Hotel, one of the most legendary properties in Washington DC, reopened its doors in June of 2016 after a $125 million renovation.

It is one of the most stunning properties in the DMV area.

As you walk into the Hotel lobby, you can't help but notice the retro-inspired midcentury modern elements reminiscent of the original 1960's design by Italian Architect, Luigi Moretti.

The Next Whisky Bar, designed by Ron Arad Architects of London, is absolutely breathtaking.

A wall of 2,500 custom whisky bottles create an amber lit backdrop perfect for an intimate affair or swanky cocktail soiree.

Geometric shapes, curves and metallics are spotted throughout the hotel.

Kingbird, named after the native Eastern Kingbird of DC, is the hotel's only restaurant offering American cuisine with a French twist

The restaurant can accommodate parties of various sizes for private events or special occasions.

The guest lounge is furnished with tufted seating, curved furniture and clean lines with a color palette of smokey greys and pops of color.

The expansive Presidential Suite includes a living room, dining room, fireplace, private kitchen, two balconies and some of the best waterfront views that the city has to offer.

Half of the hotel guest rooms have balconies.
